Phillip Henderson, originally from Boonville, Missouri, has lived in various places including Spartanburg and Greenville, South Carolina. He displayed his musical talent at a young age, beginning to play the piano at four years old. Over the years, he has expanded his musical abilities by also playing the organ and drums, as well as singing harmony.

While growing up, his main focus in music was Gospel, but in 2009, he entered the band scene. Phillip has been a part of several bands throughout his career, including Silver Nickel Band, The Whiskey Runners, The RedOak Band, Splitshot, and currently, he is a full-time member of The Hot Notes!

Along the way, he has received support and guidance from local musicians such as Ricky Sweet, Ron Gallman, Johnny Tollison, Ronald Radford, Neal Mcjunkin, and many others.
